This painting was painted "wet in wet" I brushed clear water over the entire paper. With the paper still wet, the colors were laid in and allowed to blend with one another. When the paper was almost dry, the deep blue marshland was then added. The painting is a fantasy. It is a creation of my imagination. My intent was to use the wet in wet method to evoke a sense of mystery with the indistinct, soft, blurry forms. The sky suggests a time a deep twilight as the day ends and night begins to fall. Life sometimes has no clear, obvious form. We often must live with formless ambiguity. If we can, with grace, accept such occasions, we may find that they in themselves reveal a sense of beauty.
